At Birkenheuer, we're committed to delivering your treasured pieces safely, quickly, and affordably. Here's everything you need to know about our shipping procedures.
Quality Assurance and Packaging
Every item from Birkenheuer is quality-checked prior to shipping and hand-packed to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. Also to maintain sustainability we reuse cardboard boxes to ship your products in
Order Dispatch
Orders are dispatched within 5 business days unless a custom piece has been ordered. Timing on custom piece will depend on product availability and other projects being created. We operate Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
At present, we're delighted to offer shipping across Canada with Canada Post's Expedited Parcel service.
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and the total weight of your selected items. This ensures you only pay what is necessary.

All orders are shipped from our workshop in Brantford, Ontario.
Depending on your location, your pieces will arrive:
- Local: 1-2 business days
- Regional: 1-4 business days
- National: 2-8 business days
Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to external factors such as weather, carrier delays, and peak season
If a product is out of stock then the item will need to be made if you choose to order it please allow 2-3 week delivery time.
International Queries
If you're located outside Canada and wish to place an order, we are now pleased to offer services to those of you who live in the United States. Please contact us at birkenheuer.info@gmail.com to find the cost of shipping, we are currently working on the cost structure. Customs will be the responsibility of the customer if it is required. Shipping to the United States may also take longer then the guaranteed week, Packages may take upto 2 weeks to arrive.
At present Furniture is unavailable for shipping through the website into the United States. Please get in touch if you are interested in purchasing. Shipping will require a freight service and the prices will need to be sourced.
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s).
Delivery Issues
Please note that we are not responsible for delays caused by Canada Post or courier services after dispatch. However, we will make every effort to assist you. If you encounter any delivery issues, please contact us at birkenheuer.info@gmail.com.
